Mrs Jones has been our Head Teacher for over a decade and has deep, personal roots in our local community, with her own mother having grown up as a 'Lizard girl'. She cares passionately about Landewednack and is immensely proud of the dedicated team of staff around her and the wonderful pupils who make up our school family.

For Mrs Jones, school life is entirely 'all about the children', and she is deeply committed to the well-being, happiness, and achievements of each and every individual.

As well as managing the strategic leadership of the school, Mrs Jones is very much a 'hands-on' Head Teacher. She loves nothing more than welcoming a child into her office to share a piece of work they are particularly proud of, celebrating their hard work and success with one of her highly prized special stickers.

Alongside her leadership role, Mrs Jones is also the school’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCO) and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). In these vital roles, she works tirelessly to ensure that all children receive the tailored strategies, care, and support they require to flourish both during their time at Landewednack and in their wider lives.
