Our school meals are provided by Aspens Services, who are committed to feeding all children safely.
Our Allergy-Aware Catering
•Kitchen Safety: Aspens primary school kitchens operate a strict nut-free policy for school-prepared meals.
•Allergen-Free Menu: A daily menu free from all 14 major allergens is available.
•Bespoke Menus: Aspens can create a tailored menu for children with complex or multiple medically diagnosed allergies.
How to Request a Special Diet Menu
If your child has a medically diagnosed allergy or intolerance, you must register it before they can be served school meals:
•Get the Form: Request the Aspens Alternative Menu Form from the school office or download from below.
•Provide Medical Evidence: Return the form alongside official medical documentation (e.g., a letter from a GP, consultant, or dietitian).
•Daily Ordering: Once approved, your child will select their meal from the allergy menu during morning registration in the classroom.
⚠️ Lunchtime Safety Rules:
•Yellow Lanyards: Children with registered dietary needs wear a yellow lanyard at lunch so the kitchen team can double-check their plate against their safety file.
•No Food Sharing: To keep all children safe, we operate a strict no-sharing policy for all food, snacks, and packed lunches across the school. Please talk to your child about the importance of only eating their own food.
