Computing
We use the ‘Teach Computing’ Curriculum
The Computing Curriculum followed across all TPAT Primary Schools is the NCCE (National Centre for for Computing Education) Teach Computing.
This curriculum is organised in a comprehensive and structured way to support the teaching of computing from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4 (ages 5 to 16). It’s designed to build students’ knowledge and skills in computing through a spiral curriculum model, where key concepts are revisited and expanded upon as students progress through their education.
The Teach Computing Curriculum is supported by a comprehensive website of materials and resources. Teachers also have access to CPD and to some practical examples of planning sequences etc. from across TPAT schools.
