We love reading, so we were delighted to be visited by local author Jennifer Davy, who read her story “Chloe and the Bright Idea” to us. It is a story about how Humphry Davey showed resilience in inventing his Miner’s Safety Lamp, and the children loved to hear it and ask questions about being an author.
