Class 3 visit Tregullas Farm

17th March 2015
The children from CLass 3 visited Tregullas Farm at The Lizard for a day of "Tudor Farming" They made butter and pottage which is really vegetable stew! They collected the vegetables themselves from around the farm with the help of Claire and Vicky form the National Trust and Farmer Rona Amiss. The children also visited the animals, made felt from sheep fleece and played tudor games. Miss Wells and Poppy even dressed as tudor farmers wives - they looked great! Claire lit the fire and the children made and enjoyed their own bread. It was a lovely day.
